The Plaid Party is a mythical political party created for the politically homeless. We have chosen to respectfully step back from single issue, ultimatum-driven, fear-based, self-righteous purity politics.
We are ready for a return to a third way where ideas collide, conflicts are resolved and connection is built.
We find the left/right, conservative/liberal, right/wrong dichotomies boring. There is something intriguing about the middle. It’s not lukewarm like mixing hot and cold water, it’s a connection like plaid cloth full of fascinating collisions.
You have to connect to talk and talk to hear and hear to understand and understand to see that you are the monster to your enemy. When you discover your monster you can make peace.
